civics assignment 3-4th period September 4, 2012

1.Who are the People of the United States?  The country is home to people of different national origins. As a result, Americans do not equate their nationality with ethnicity, but with citizenship.
2.What is a Union?  is an organized group of workers who come together to make decisions about the conditions of their work.
3.What is Justice? is a concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, or equity. It is also the act of being just and/or fair.
4.What is the meaning of domestic Tranquility? One of the concerns of the Framers was that the government prior to that under the Constitution was unable, by force or persuasion, to quell rebellion or quarrels amongst the states
5.What is the common defense?  is the protection of a whole country against foreign attack.
6.What is the general Welfare?  is a section that appeared in many constitutions, as well as in some charters and statutes, which provides that the governing body empowered by the document may enact laws to promote the general welfare of the people, sometimes worded as the public welfare
7.What are the Blessings of Liberty and Posterity? The blessings of liberty refers to all of the benefits that are afforded by having liberty.
8.What is the meaning of  ordain? equal punishment was ordained for the two crimes
